One of the Bettys is hosting a Super Bowl Party this Sunday where wine will be served- good wine of course- and we just had to share with you which wines she's serving (we've been drinking wine longer than we care to admit so we know legit wine) and a clever idea for wine glass eye blacks to help guests keep track of their wine glasses!
Our Starting Wine Up (Get it? So funny!):
And here's our GENIUS idea for wine glass eye black markers- they're 100% football themed AND 100% functional! Plus, they take like 2 seconds to apply. Just make sure to provide a chalk pen so guests can easily write their name or nickname!
Which wines do we like for a Super Bowl party? We serve both whites and reds so everyone's wine preferences are satisfied.
The Whites (keep them chilled in a beautiful bowl filled with ice for easy access) :
La Crema- Chardonnay- 2013, Sonoma Coast, CA
Landmark Vineyards- Overlook Chardonnay- 2013, Sonoma County, CA
ZD Wines- Chardonnay- 2013, Napa Valley, CA
J Vineyards & Winery- Pinot Gris- 2014, Sonoma Coast, CA
Rodney Strong Estate Vineyards- Pinot Noir- 2012, Sonoma County, CA
Alexander Valley Vineyards- Merlot- 2012, Healdsburg, CA
Hirsch Vineyards- Pinot Noir- 2011, San Adreas Falt, Sonoma Coast, CA
Decoy- Red Wine- 2013, Sonoma Country, CA
And here's just one more pretty to tempt you to try the wine glass eye black idea- and don't forget to have some flowers at your Super Bowl party too. They take your party to the next level!
We didn't include a "how to" for the eye blacks...you get it, right?
Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!
